Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and a former supermodel. Apart from her beautiful elegance, her continued successes in the film industry proves her skills as a performer. When she was a model in her early years, she began her career in the 1970s. Then she became a household name within the world of modeling. From the 80s onwards, she attended acting classes and studied theater prior to performing on stage in Los Angeles. The year 1987 saw Russo was the lead character Eden Kendell in ABC's drama Sable. Rose Namajunas, one of the most well-known female UFC athletes, is an accomplished athlete. She started out as an amateur fighter that competed in regional events before joining Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she joined the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Namajunas has racked up a lot of fame following her joining of the UFC thanks to her inside and outside the octagon's successes. Namajunas is born the 29th of June, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrant family. Rose participated in sports such as basketball as well as kickboxing while she was growing up. Rose made her debut in professional competition aged 18 at the Invicta Fighting Championships in which she managed to win two bouts by submission. Rose was also able to make MMA history by winning this fight as she became the first woman to challenge for a champion title within any organization of note. Namajunas was able to record many other victories, including 2 wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her Best Performance of the Night award from UFC.
